Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accounts Payable Specialist to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounts payable processes, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently. This role involves managing invoices, processing payments, and ensuring accuracy in financial transactions.

Responsibilities:

• Review and verify invoices and check requests.

• Sort, code, and match invoices.

• Set invoices up for payment.

• Enter and upload invoices into the system.

• Track expenses and process expense reports.

• Prepare and perform check runs.

• Reconcile accounts payable transactions.

• Monitor accounts to ensure payments are up to date.

• Research and resolve invoice discrepancies and issues.

• Maintain vendor files and correspond with vendors and respond to inquiries.

• Assist with month-end closing.

• Provide supporting documentation for audits.

  Requirements

Requirements:

• Associate's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.

• 2+ years of accounts payable or general accounting experience.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.

• Experience with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP).

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
