Job Title: Network Engineer/Administrator Level II
Job Description:
Provide management, maintenance, security, planning, modeling, simulation, design, installation, testing, and coordination of the information technology network. This includes ensuring network availability to authorized users, monitoring and responding to complex hardware, software, and network issues, analysis and testing of all elements of the information network. Candidate will enforce network and systems policies, monitor access and usage, maximize network performance, and ensure network optimization. Position requires knowledge and ability to troubleshoot network problems/outages; respond to inquiries for technical assistance/support; and report network status weekly and monthly and during periods of degraded system performance or outages. The position will support multi-server environments (including IP address schemes, DNS, WINS, Ether-Channel (Bonding), etc.); schedule and perform upgrades; and create and maintain network and system documentation and drawings.
Required Skills/Education:
Bachelor's degree in engineering (Communications, Computer, or Electrical), Computer Science, Computing and Information, Information Systems, Mathematics, or similar degree and meets the experience requirements, or equivalent documented combination of training and experience.
Cisco certification CCNA and/or CCDA, as well as Security +
Years of Experience: 3 years
