Performs tests and analyses pertaining to sample filters.Includes setup and monitoring of testing equipment while in operation.Prepares summary reports based on test results.Maintains records and files pertaining to laboratory activity.Assists in product research and with other related assignments.
1.Prepares reports summarizing test filter performance.
2.Performs analyses of contamination and samples taken during testing of oil, fuel, and hydraulic filters.
3.Performs paper media comparisons as requested.
4.Monitors test machinery during operation to ensure proper performance.
5.Is responsible for maintaining testing equipment and solutions.Includes setup of machinery, mixing quadrant and cleaning of machines.
6.Maintains records and test files.
7.Assists quality assurance personnel in testing paper.
8.Uses scales, Millipore filtration units, microscope, and specification testing equipment.
9.Performs other departmental responsibilities as assigned.May include assisting in research and department housekeeping.
