Mechanical Machine Shop Helper (Kansas City, MO) ($21-23/hour)

2 Openings on Night Shift 10PM-6:30AM OT on Saturdays

Job Description

Perform fabrication, deburring, grinding, polishing, and paint tasks in a manufacturing environment. Work alongside machinists, welders, and fabricators in the final stages of product development. Use hand and power tools, as well as a tape measure, to complete tasks efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Assist in fabrication, deburring, grinding, polishing, and painting tasks.

• Work closely with machinists, welders, and fabricators.

• Utilize hand and power tools effectively.

• Measure materials accurately using a tape measure.

Essential Skills

• Proficiency with hand and power tools.

• Experience with deburring, light CNC Operation.

• Experience in fabrication, grinding, and polishing.

• Ability to accurately use a tape measure.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Any education or certifications related to welding or machining are a bonus.

• Enrollment in a trade school is advantageous.
