NBKC Bank Loan Support Specialist in Kansas City, Missouri
Summary Description
nbkc is currently looking forLoan Support Specialistto join our Home Loans Operations team.
The Loan Support Specialist will assist Loan Originators with a variety of tasks to ensure compliance with laws and regulations. They will also provide great customer experience for internal and external customers. This position will work @remote, based out of our Kansas City, MO office. Candidates must live in Missouri or Kansas and be able to travel to Kansas City for training and meetings as needed.

What youll do
- Assist LO with administrative support throughout the entire process of the lead until it becomes a closed loan
- Assist LO in preparation of pre-qualifications and commitment letters
- Work to obtain the needed documents and information to clear requirements for the loan
- Review purchase contracts to make sure all needed information is included and all additional contract documents have been provided
- Assist LO in uploading borrower documents into the file
- Review the loan file for accuracy and completeness making sure that all the information in the file is complete and correct and that all the required documents and updates are in the file
- Orders title commitments, appraisals, flood certifications, and case numbers
- Correspond with vendors to follow up on orders
- Communicates to all parties the critical information regarding the status of orders placed for the loan by documenting everything in the file
- Orders CAIVRS on all VA files
- Updates and maintains LOS system with related information
- Follow all applicable laws and regulations
- Perform other duties and projects as assigned
What youll bring
- High school diploma or GED required
- Qualified candidates will have 1+ years of professional experience
- Strong computer skills including knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications including Excel and Word.
