We are offering a 6+ month contract employment opportunity for a Customer Service Representative/Order Manager in Kansas City, Kansas. This role primarily involves the administration of export orders in accordance with organizational policies and compliance with relevant local and international customs laws and processes. As a primary interface with both internal and external customers, you will be managing customer accounts in assigned destination countries in relation to export order management activities, maintaining high standards of compliance and customer service.

Responsibilities:

• Manage customer accounts in relation to export order management activities, general requests, problem-solving, and communication, maintaining high standards of compliance and customer service.- SAP System

• Directly interact with individuals at customer sites to manage customer relationships and resolve critical support issues and order follow-ups.

• Prioritize workloads and adjust shipments and delivery timelines to meet customer requests and timelines, liaising with Customs brokers and freight forwarders to resolve export operational issues.

• Work with Quality Assurance and Compliance (QAC) to ensure complaints are properly facilitated through the complaint process flow.

• Handle the export documentation process to ensure appropriate required documentation is filed correctly, timely, and compliant according to destination.

• Coordinate efforts with different operational areas and government agencies to obtain and execute all export documentation.

• Determine appropriate documentation according to Letter of Credit requirements, create these documents and submit for shipments when applicable.

• Serve as a resource and export liaison for customers, domestic and international, and internal business groups such as sales, distribution, credit, accounting, manufacturing, and compliance, educating on appropriate export practices.

• Analyze each situation as needed and take appropriate action to meet customer needs, ensuring customer satisfaction and adherence to the organization's policies.

Requirements • Proven experience in a Customer Service role

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Prior experience in a sales environment

• Familiarity with office functions and procedures

• Strong documentation skills

• Knowledge of company policy and compliance regulations

• Experience with invoice review and audit

• Understanding of logistics, including billing and shipping functions

• Experience in claim administration

• Proficiency in the English language

• Familiarity with regulations and credit procedures

• Experience in the implementation of company policies and procedures

• Ability to act as a liaison between customers and partners

• Knowledge of best practices for ensuring customer satisfaction

• Experience in the Consumer Electronics sector is a plus

• Ability to execute tasks efficiently and effectively.
