Description
The role of the Head Girls Volleyball Coach is to be responsible for the coaching, character development, and providing direction to student-athletes so that they might achieve a high level of skill and an appreciation for discipline, sportsmanship, and teamwork in volleyball. Applicants must be able to work with assistant coaches, athletes, administration, and parents. Create the schedule for the volleyball season, successfully pass the required background check, complete online coaches training, and comply with KHS and UHSAA policies and procedures for athletics. Work with administration to select assistant coaches. Plan and manage team camps and clinics. Communicate team standards & expectations with parents and athletes. Coordinate fundraising and parent volunteer assignments.
Requirements
Applicants must be willing to submit to a background check and complete district and UHSAA online coach training. Must be able to work effectively with administration, students, and parents. Be willing to run summer camps and clinics.
Pay is based on the extra-duty district pay schedule.
