Description Robert Half is seeking candidates for a full-time Staff Accountant position, which will become a critical part of an innovative company. In this Staff Accountant role, it will be critical for you to prepare journal entries, monthly and year-end closings, bank reconciliation, fixed asset maintenance, and general ledger reconciliation. The ideal candidate for this position can perform internal reporting during the monthly close, participate in compliance, interact with our external auditors for quarterly reviews and annual audits, and review schedules reporting processes. Responsibilities

• Regular maintenance and reconciliation of journal entries

• Manage reconciliation, depreciation, and fixed asset ledgers

• Prepare analyses for monthly balance sheets and income statements for management to report on

• Produce journal entries and perform the month end close under minimal supervision

• Analyze and coordinate a variety of financial data, and report it in a useful and understandable manner

• Compose thorough journal entries and account reconciliations which include, but are not limited to, cash, prepaid expenses, and payroll

• Become well-versed in month end balance sheet account reconciliations

• Special projects and impromptu reporting, upon request

• Intercompany billings, transactions, and reconciliation

• Partake in various department-wide initiatives

• Assist in implementation, maintenance and adherence to internal controls and accounting procedures ensuring compliance with GAAP

• Assist with the month end, quarter end and year end closing process by preparing monthly financial close workbooks

• Maintain capital lease and monthly payment schedules Requirements - BA/BS or equivalent in Accounting, Finance or Economics

• Exemplary analytical, quantitative and social skills

• Proficient with spreadsheets and databases

• Knowledgeable of ERP systems

• Recent and relevant accounting experience

• Ability to work within spreadsheets and databases

• Comprehensive knowledge of QuickBooks

• Self-driven motivator who takes initiative on projects with a strong ability to understand and solve creative challenges

• Attentive, ability to work independently and prioritize tasks

• Ability to prioritize work and balance multiple projects and deadlines

• Ability to prioritize deals and adapt to quick changes while remaining diligent, and to thrive in a dynamic, high pressure environment

• Fully formed organizational, written and verbal communication skills
