Job Title: Manual Machinist

Job Description

Seeking a candidate with experience in operating a Vertical Lathe. Responsibilities include setting up, inspecting parts to drawing requirements, troubleshooting malfunctions, reporting needed repairs, and reviewing setup sheets and specifications to determine setup procedures. You will align and secure holding fixtures, cutting tools, attachments, accessories, and materials onto machines, and select the appropriate tools, machines, and materials for machining work based on work instructions.

Hard Skills

• Manual and some CNC Machine operation

• Vertical turning lathe experience

• Manual machinist experience

Soft Skills

• Troubleshooting

• Ability to follow work instructions

Job Type

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 18 Week(s).

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Jupiter, Florida.

Work Environment

2nd shift in a manufacturing warehouse environment that is air-conditioned but may get hot during summer. The workspace is well-lit, clean, and professional with no safety concerns. All candidates starting on 2nd shift will receive a minimum of 3 months training on 1st shift and will earn an additional 10% Shift Differential on their pay rate once they move to 2nd shift.
