ACE American Insurance Company Senior Full Stack Engineers in Jersey City, New Jersey

Senior Full Stack Engineers (ACE American Insurance Company (Chubb)) (Jersey City, NJ): Developing and implementing complex, large-scale software applications capable of integrating with multiple internal/external systems and processing large data sets; Utilizing the Agile framework to guide business partners through requirements and testing strategies, owning issue resolution and leading user acceptance testing; Engaging in development efforts across the full SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle), from design and coding through to test, build, QA, deployment, and maintenance; Building cloud-based software solutions in order to develop the cloud infrastructure required to support the migration of applications to the cloud and support the effective operation of same; Partnering closely with business stakeholders, architects, and technical leads across a variety of internal teams in order to develop acceptance criteria and user acceptance testing plans that ensure solutions built meet business needs; Contributing to the quality assurance (QA) team’s test strategy and approach to ensure that the designed solutions satisfy the business requirements; and Acting as an internal resource for topics related to application development and the underlying architectural framework, providing guidance, analysis, and context to internal stakeholders during meetings and other planning/strategy activities. Must have experience with the following in order to complete the above-mentioned tasks: Experience with .Net Framework in a supervisory or team leadership capacity; Experience with web API (.Net core), as well the following: ASP.Net MVC, HTML, CSS, Angular or React; Experience with Azure Development (IAAS, PAAS, Key vault, Azure functions, Blob, App Insights); Solid understanding of software development life cycle models; Knowledge of both Agile Project Management and DevOps tools and practices including the following: Jira, Confluence, MS Project, MS Visio, and/or Clarity, GitHub, and Jenkins; and Solid understanding of SDLC models with a demonstrated ability to lead software development projects and ensure objectives, goals, and commitments are met. Requires a Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a related technical field, and at least three (3) years of experience as a Software Engineer or a related occupation.
