Genesis10 is currently seeking an IT Program Manager with our client in the financial industry located in Jersey City, NJ. This is a 12 + month contract position.
Responsibilities:
- Direct delivery responsibility for projects (i.e. end to end ownership of the program)
- Oversight of all projects within the program and be responsible for recognizing when individual projects may be off track
- Identify risks, assumptions, issues and dependencies (RAID) and proactively manage/reporting RAIDs.
- Review and/or publish the weekly status report for the program
- Consistently meet with project managers to understand progress and issues across projects and provide support as necessary
- Responsible for weekly status reporting and preparing materials to present to stakeholders
Requirements:
- Strong financial markets product knowledge, counterparty credit risk experience
- Familiarity with principles of scaled agile delivery, PI planning, and agile scrum methodology
- Strong project management and organization skills, attention to details
- Strong ownership and follow through
- Ability to remove obstacles and influence others to move projects forward
- Flexible, hardworking and "can do" attitude; comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with frequent release cycles and rapidly changing priorities
- Excellent communication skills and ability to effectively communicate within a multi-disciplined team, across multiple locations and time zones, and to interact with demanding business users

Pay Range: $48.37 - $56.37
