The J.P. Morgan Wealth Management (USWM) business is focused on helping investors achieve their long-term financial goals and is comprised of the Chase wealth management business, J.P. Morgan Advisors, Personal Advisors and Self-Directed - our digital investing platform. The combined business has one trillion in Assets Under Management and 5,000 advisors located across 3,500 branches and 20 offices.

The JPMorgan Wealth Management Statements & Tax reporting team defines and executes on the strategy for 2 client facing reporting products that impact 5+ million investment account holders and drives a budget of approximately 12 million dollars annually spread across 3 distinct technology teams covering 7 scrum teams.

As a J.P. Morgan Wealth Management, Senior Associate - Tax Area Product Owner within the JPMorgan Wealth Management Statements & Tax reporting team, you will be responsible for promoting the product roadmap and defining specific, measurable OKRs for the product. You will ensure all technology teams are operating efficiently and aid in the creation and delivery of a monthly product cabinet. Your role will be crucial in ensuring all regulatory reporting requirements are met and creating a consistent cost basis and tax statement experience across all accounting platforms and client channels.

Job responsibilities

• Ensure all regulatory reporting requirements are met for all JPM WM investment accounts

• Create a consistent cost basis and tax statement experience across all accounting platforms and client channels

• Enable the tax platform to support future growth by driving the tax engine migration initiative

• Coordinate with other product teams to agree on delivery expectations and work through blockers

• Work with technology teams to prioritize and plan product releases

• Prioritize work (Epics and Initiatives) by performing quarterly planning based on partner technology teams capacity

• Work with delivery manager to manage workflow of Stories and Epics in Jira for accurate reflection of progress completion

• Own accountability for requirements delivery from start-to-finish, including acceptance criteria fulfillment

• Step in as-needed for issue triage and remediation to ensure consistent production quality

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

• 5 plus years of industry experience, including Experience with Jira, Align, agile product development and software delivery lifecycle

• Effective communicator with excellent written communication skills

• Proven track record of new product feature creation and delivery

• Ability to influence people at all levels across a broad variety of job functions

• Demonstrated ability to manage tight delivery timelines and calmness under pressure

• Excels in a dynamic environment that changes due to external factors and new priorities

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

• FINRA Series 99 or willingness to obtain within 120 days

  • Prior experience with cost basis or product ownership is desired
