Modern Litho-Print Co Shipping Coordinator in JEFFERSON CITY, Missouri

Long Story Short:
This position at our downtown Jefferson City location, coordinates the shipment of finished printed products to ensure on-time delivery. Provides information to other company employees, customers, and collaborating organizations.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Follow standard work methods and practice safe work habits to ensure delivery is as efficient and safe as possible.
- The role includes working with others in the company and various carriers to provide the highest level of customer service.
- Must enter data into a computer program to record time, materials and costs of shipping.
Job Requirements:
- Must be quality minded and pay attention to detail.
- Must be able to read and understand a job ticket.
- Must have a good work and attendance record.
- Must take reasonable care of companyproperty and equipment.
- Occasionally instructs and assists other employees or makes work assignments to others concerning shipping or delivery as directed by a supervisor.
Education:
- High School Graduate or equivalent.
Physical Demands:
- Appreciable physical effort or strain. Moderately heavy lifting (60 lbs), pulling, and pushing activity.
- May include reaching, stooping, and standing (8 hours).
Schedule:
8 hours, Day Shift (Monday-Friday)
