Voyig LLC Puller Loader Associate in Jacksonville, Florida
Overview
The Puller-Loader Associate is responsible for pulling materials for production, matching Trim and Door orders, and loading on the same truck. The following description details the duties. These duties include but are not limited to the following functions.
Responsibilities
Door Specific:
2 days out, receive paperwork with orders scheduled, pull materials and stage for Production next day.
Record any missing product on a needs list and communicate accordingly to Purchasing to buy the product or Production to Build the material.
Notate Backorder on ticket if needed.
1 day before delivery (day of loading) match Trim Carts with Interior Door packages.
Check trim and door packages for accuracy by matching line items with physical items.
Sign off on Ticket all items accounted for, have Shipping/Dock Manager also check and sign off.
General:
Working safely and reporting any unsafe conditions.
Pre-trip inspection of equipment.
Using forklift moving carts and materials throughout warehouse.
General housekeeping responsibilities like sweeping, dumping trash, and 5S’ing your area.
Performs other duties and responsibilities as required or requested.
Qualifications
1-2 years warehouse experience preferred.
Forklift experience preferred.
Some knowledge of Millwork construction supplies.
Ability to distinguish order numbers quickly.
Ability to think fast.
Ability to manage time to get the job done within the time allotted.
Team player.
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Good math skills are a plus.
Self-motivated individual.
Working conditions
Job requires some extended hours, as needed, to accomplish job requirements.
Job requires working in a warehouse environment which includes load noises, high temperatures, and humidity.
Job requires working in and around machinery/powered equipment and associated safety risks.
Job requires interaction with all levels within the location and all their direct reports (as needed).
Job requires interaction with internal customers to resolve issues.
Physical requirements
Job requires lifting, standing, walking, and sitting for long periods of time around a manufacturing and/or warehouse facility.
