We are offering a long-term contract employment opportunity for an Accounts Payable Clerk in Jacksonville, Florida. This role is within the construction industry, where you will be processing customer applications, maintaining accurate customer records, and resolving customer inquiries. You will also be monitoring customer accounts and taking appropriate action.

Responsibilities

• Accurately and efficiently process customer credit applications

• Maintain up-to-date and precise customer credit records

• Resolve customer inquiries in a timely and detail oriented manner

• Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate steps when necessary

• Perform account reconciliation tasks

• Execute check runs as per schedule

• Ensure accurate coding of invoices

• Handle high-volume data entry tasks

• Utilize Microsoft Excel, Oracle, and SAP for various tasks

• Leverage skills in construction and construction accounting

• Conduct job cost analysis when required

• Provide exceptional customer service

• Ensure 3-way matching for invoices and purchase orders.

Requirements • Minimum of 2 years of experience in an Accounts Payable role or a similar position

• Proficiency in Account Reconciliation, Accounts Payable (AP), and Check Runs

• Demonstrated experience in Coding Invoices and Invoice Processing

• Strong Data Entry skills, with a focus on accuracy and speed

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with Oracle and SAP systems

• Construction industry experience, particularly Construction Accounting, is highly desirable

• Understanding of Job Costing in a construction context

• Experience in High-Volume Data Entry environments

• Excellent Customer Service skills, with a focus on building relationships with vendors and internal stakeholders

• Familiarity with 3 Way Matching in an accounts payable context

• Experience handling Purchase Orders, from creation to payment completion
