Summary: As Director, AP Assessment Production, you are an integral member of the cross-functional team building and delivering AP Exams and Instructional resources. You are a collaborative, insightful, and highly motivated professional, with a keen eye for detail and a passion for educational opportunity. You are not shy about digging into ambiguity and you are quick to propose more efficient ways of getting things done.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain detailed item authoring and review schedules for all summative and formative assessments for each of the courses you manage. Collaborate with CB stakeholders (AP Assessment, AP Classroom, Technology, Digital Delivery) as well as external partners to define and implement requirements for AP assessment products based on the requirements of the range of AP courses, platforms, and formats. Partner with AP content teams to build and maintain detailed assessment item and form specifications, monitoring existing item inventory and scoping/scheduling assessment production work accordingly. Support the recruitment, on-boarding, and continued professional learning of high-quality independent consultants to serve as content creators across all applicable courses

Requirements

: Bachelor's degree is required. 5+ years of relevant product and/or project management experience is required, preferably in the education industry. High degree of personal ownership and accountability to consistently deliver results in a fast-paced environment. Strong organizational and time management skills with a process-oriented mindset. Excellent interpersonal, collaborative and communication skills; demonstrated ability to establish positive working relationships at all levels of the organization. An ability to embrace ambiguity and a willingness to dig into unfamiliar tasks. Ability to process and distill large volumes of data and draw insightful conclusions to drive decision-making. Willingness and ability to travel domestically 1-2 times per quarter. Authorized to work in the United States
