Key Responsibilities
BorgWarner PowerDrive Systems is currently looking for a dynamic , results driven person to join as Production Process Engineer at our Manufacturing Plant in Izmir.
Controls equipment and processes for the specific technology, ensuring continuous improvement and production efficiency, in accordance with product/process specifications.
C ontin uou s l y contro ls the reliability and the performance of the specific technology on all equipments that use it, proposing improvement programs to the responsible .
F ollo w in g u p p roble m s and do ing troubleshooting on production area , supervises interventions due to line stops and the correct restart of the line .
Assisting new implemented machinery and/or modification projects.
Assisting to Engineering & Maintenance Responsible to accept the machine, verifying results vs requirements, analyzing machinery capability and capacity , checking the safety devices.
Forecasting t he possi ble d angerous si t uat ions and taking a ct ion to prevent
Assure backup of all control system software
Manages the production technical data ( process parameters and software).
Contribute s to the improvement plans (QIP) .
Develops improvement for TPM/PM plans .
Manages th e t r aining for oper at ors and tec h nic i an s for new processes/ process changes .
Ensure that all operating , monitoring , maintenance and safety procedures are carried out as appropriate
Report to t h e Engine eri ng & Maintenance Responsible immediately on problems that affect production and keep the Engineering & Maintenance
Responsib le up to date on the status of your area .
Education & Experience
K no w le d ge o f m e c hanica l tools , robotics , automation , vision system , testing system and their use in manufacturing , measurement and assembly .
Und e rs t andi n g o f c ur re nt mech anical des ign, analys is and verifica tion techn iques , robotics , automation , testing syst em .
Effect ive verb al and written communic a tion skills , inc l uding the use of MS Wo rd and Excel.
Expertise with PLC Ladder base programming , HMI design and programming and St base programming , Robotic Programming .
Experience of troubleshooting , fabricating and / or repairing machines and mechanical assemblies. Knowledge of SPC.
