Amazon Content Programming Lead, Prime Video Turkey in Istanbul, Turkey

Description

Do you want to define the next generation of how and what Amazon customers are watching? Prime Video is one of the leading digital video services on the Internet today, and we’re just getting started changing the way millions of people around the world enjoy content. Now available in more than 240 countries and territories, Prime Video offers customers the broadest selection of any on-demand video service, including our critically-acclaimed Amazon Originals Series such as the multi-award-winning The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel, Tom Clancy’s Jack Ryan, The Boys.

We are seeking a Content and Programming Lead in Turkey to be a part of the Prime Video team, reporting to the Prime Video Turkey Country Leader. This role will be a critical contributor within the Prime Video Turkey organization. This position will be the cornerstone between content acquisition, Amazon Studios, marketing and PR to ensure the most customer obsessed content portfolio for Turkey. Specifically, this role involves diving deep on the audience goals of each title, and making recommendations to maximize their success through release plans in combination with the entire portfolio.

This role also supports local programming and scheduling across originals and licensing, to drive customer acquisition, engagement, and retention. The output is providing recommendations to our development and content acquisition pipelines as we look to close gaps over a three-year horizon, and mechanizing licensing or other outputs in the case we have near-term shortfalls. The role will rely heavily on influence over authority to drive project deliverables. Effective cross-functional collaboration within the Global/EMEA Programming Strategy team and across Marketing, Finance, and Content teams is crucial to the success of this role.

This position will be based in Istanbul, Turkey and will require frequent collaboration with local as well as UK/EU/US-based stakeholders.

• Conduct analysis of tradeoffs, financial impact and service level metrics to make optimal release schedule recommendations to Leadership.
