The Opportunity:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated ServiceNow Application Developer to join our team. As a ServiceNow Application Developer, you will play a crucial role in the development, installation, upgrade, and customization of ServiceNow applications, ensuring seamless functionality and user experience within the Department of Defense (DoD) environment. You will be responsible for implementing solutions that support business processes and improve operational efficiency, working in both SIPR and NIPR networks. You will work in an Agile environment to deliver high-quality results while adhering to DoD standards and security requirements.

Responsibilities:
Application Development: Design, develop, and implement custom applications, workflows, and integrations within the ServiceNow platform to meet business needs in a DoD environment.
ServiceNow Installation & Configuration: Install, configure, and deploy the ServiceNow platform, ensuring optimal performance and reliability, specifically for both SIPR and NIPR networks.
Upgrades: Manage the upgrade process for ServiceNow instances within the DoD environment, ensuring successful transitions to new versions of ServiceNow with minimal disruption and maintaining compliance with DoD security standards.
Update Set Management: Move update sets across instances, maintaining proper version control and ensuring the integrity of the deployment process, while adhering to DoD security guidelines.
Customization & Configuration: Customize ServiceNow modules, forms, and UI to meet client requirements, including scripting and creating business rules, client scripts, and UI policies.
Agile Development: Work in an Agile environment, participating in sprint planning, stand-ups, and reviews to deliver iterative improvements and meet project milestones.
Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including business analysts, system administrators, and project managers, to understand requirements and deliver effective solutions.
Testing & Troubleshooting: Perform testing to ensure functionality works as intended, and troubleshoot issues to resolve them efficiently.
Qualifications:
Required:
An active DoD Secret clearance and must pass TESA / Bachelor's Degree with 3 years (OR) Associates Degree with 7 years (OR) High School with 11 years of experience.
Proven experience with ServiceNow development, including custom applications, UI customization, scripting, and integrations.
Strong programming and scripting skills, including:o JavaScript (essential for ServiceNow development, including Business Rules, Client Scripts, and UI Policies) o Glide API for ServiceNow platform integrations and enhancements o PowerShell, Python, or Shell scripting for automation and integration tasks o HTML/CSS for customizing ServiceNow portals and user interfaces
Familiarity with ServiceNow modules such as Incident Management, Change Management, Service Catalog, and CMDB.
Expertise in ITSM (IT Service Management) processes, including incident, change, and problem management.
Strong experience with PPM (Project Portfolio Management) within the ServiceNow platform, including managing project workflows and resources.
Proficient in utilizing Discovery Tool to automate and streamline the discovery of infrastructure and services in the enterprise environment.
Experience with HAM (Hardware Asset Management) and SAM (Software Asset Management) for managing assets throughout their lifecycle and ensuring compliance.
Familiarity with ServiceNow update set management and best practices.
Strong understanding of the Agile methodology and experience working in an Agile development environment.
Experience with ServiceNow installations, upgrades, and platform management.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
ITIL Certification (Foundation or higher) to ensure alignment with.

The proposed salary range for this position is:
$90,300 - 189,600 USD
