Would you like to ensure first class HR business partnering for our two Sales Regions, Domestic Building Services, Central & East Europe (DBS CEE) and India, Middle East and Africa (DBS IMEA)? And do you want to work with a wide array of HR tasks supporting our globalization and organizational transformation in an international setup?

Join the HR Business Partner team!

Being a member of both the DBS Central & East Europe and DBS IMEA leadership teams, you will be responsible for steering the organizational and personnel strategy within these two sales areas. Further, you will translate and execute the overall Grundfos, and DBS organization and people plans into regional activities.

You will join our global HR Business Partnering tier and step into a team of in total twenty-five HR professionals, among those six experienced HR Business Partners, who in collaboration with global HR Services and HR Centre’s of Excellence provide a high level or HR deliveries to the DBS organization. You will report directly to Senior HR Director, DBS, Henrik Kirkelund Bæk.

” The key to success is your ability to understand the complexity of our business and being the custodian for the Grundfos company culture by reinforcing Grundfos Values and key behaviors – focusing on translating and driving the execution on regional level activities from the DBS strategy deployment plans and DBS CEE/IMEA Win plans into targeted HR activities and plans to ensure long term value for the DBS organization” Henrik explains.

As our new HR colleague, you will first and foremost devote most of your time to be working as a trusted business partner for the DBS CEE & IMEA Regional Leadership teams, in total approximately 200 employees, and by that taking co-accountability for the general leadership of the two sales regions.

Your workday will be characterized mainly by dialogues with the leadership team and employees regarding different HR deliveries. This includes:

  • Being the custodian for the Grundfos company culture by reinforcing Grundfos Values and key behaviors.

  • Take co-accountability – together with the Regional Leadership teams – for the general leadership of the functions.

  • Translate and ensure the execution on functional level activities coming out of the overall DBS strategy deployment plans. Activities within areas as:

  • Competence and skills gab-analysis and development

  • Employee engagement and motivation

  • Talent Management

  • People performance management (target setting, incentives…. etc.)

  • Leadership and culture development

  • Recruitment

  • Be the day-to-day coach and counselor primarily to the Regional Sales Director for each of the two sales regions, and their Regional Leadership teams

  • Support leadership development in the functions covering the Leadership teams as well as individual leaders.

  • Implementing Grundfos / DBS annual HR processes:

  • People review (performance & Potential reviews)

  • PDD (Performance & Development Dialogue process)

  • Merit reviews

  • Employee engagement surveys

  • Succession & Talent Flow session

  • Take accountability for E2E HR deliveries to the functions including HR operational and administrative services delivered by aligning expectation, providing feedback as well as liaise between leaders and HR Services in special and challenging cases.

  • Drive global and cross DBS initiatives on behalf of the DBS HRBP team.

  • Contribute and be the DBS HR representative in company-wide HR projects.

In addition, you take on a cross-functional role where your tasks vary from organizational development and competence development to projects or process facilitation. Our focus the coming period will be to support the DBS organization to become even more end-user focused, strengthen the innovation power, promote a performance culture as well as the ability to think and work E2E.

Business understanding and interest in people and organization

The key to growth in this HR Business Partner role is to ensure business-oriented partnering through your proven business and HR acumen, interpersonal skills and your ability to build trusting relationships. As such, you also have positive influencing and coaching skills. By supporting, advising and collaborating with leaders, you secure an increased people and organizational performance in the area. To facilitate this, you:

  • Most likely you hold a university degree in HR, Business, management or similar combined with some years of experience as a business-oriented HR Business partner, HR consultant or HR manager OR are a leader skilled in working with, developing, and advising managers.

  • Extensive end-to-end HR experience (e.g. C&B, Learning and Development, Talent Management, Recruitment and organization design).

  • Have advanced communication skills, and you are fluent in spoken and written English (German would be a clear and appreciated as plus).

  • Are proactive and able to transform strategy into action.

  • Are detail-oriented, but you do not lose yourself - and your ability to follow through on tasks – in the detail.
