Job Description:
V2X Aerospace Solutions has entry level Systems Engineering opportunities for college students graduating by May of 2025 to join our Systems Engineering team in Indianapolis, IN. As a Systems Engineering I, you will work within a team of talented and experienced engineers performing Systems Engineering activities that include design, development or test at the system, subsystem, and component levels. The selected candidates will apply technical standards, principles, theories, concepts, and techniques to solve customer needs by providing customized engineering services and products for unique customer missions.
Responsibilities Include:
Developing and documenting requirements and interfaces, design analysis, modeling and simulation, system integration and trade studies
Developing, document, and executing system verification to show compliance
Following structured, data driven approaches to solve problems
Applying your engineering knowledge and participating as a member of a multi-discipline team
Contributing to the completion of project/program milestones under the general guidance of the immediate supervisor and team leads
Following established Systems Engineering processes and procedures
Required Skills:
Ability to apply basic engineering principles, theories, and concepts
Ability to successfully develop solutions to routine technical problems
Ability to work in a multi-discipline team environment demonstrated through customer focus and ability to collaborate
Experience with MS Office Suite of tools
Excellent written and verbal communication
Desired Skills:
Previous Engineering project and/or internship experience
Exposure to requirements development, derivation, and management
Exposure to integration of software and hardware subsystems
Exposure to Cybersecurity engineering concepts and practices
Exposure to modern software development cycle techniques
Ability to research and distill data into meaningful information
Education Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree obtained by the Spring of 2025
Major in Engineering (Aeronautical, Computer, Electrical, Mechanical, Software, or Systems), Computer Science or a closely related STEM field
A cumulative GPA of 3.0+ is strongly desired
