Goodwill of Central and Southern Indiana Accounting Spend Platform Manager in Indianapolis, Indiana
This is a hybrid role and will work out of our corporate office in downtown Indianapolis as needed. The general salary range for this role is $65-$75K including full benefits (below):
The Spend Management Platform Manager plays an integral role within the accounting department. As the Spend Management Platform Manager, you will assume a dual role in overseeing the optimization, administration, and enhancement of our organization's spend management platform, with a primary focus on Coupa, while also providing support in Accounts Payable (AP). This position requires a blend of technical expertise in Coupa administration, strategic thinking in spend management, and proficiency in AP processes to ensure seamless integration and collaboration between the two functions.
*Example Duties and Activities*
Acts as the primary administrator for spend management platform(s), ensuring its smooth operation, data integrity, and user access management.
Continually assesses and enhances the functionality and configuration of the spend management platform to meet evolving business needs and industry best practices.
Identifies opportunities to streamline procurement processes, invoice management, supplier management, and expense reporting through automation and system enhancements.
Collaborates with stakeholders to implement system improvements and drive efficiency in spend management practices.
Ensures compliance with accounting policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
Assists with invoice processing, vendor payments, and reconciliation tasks as needed, ensuring timely and accurate processing.
Provides responsive and efficient customer service to vendors, addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
Oversees new vendor setup in spend management platform and ensures vendor records are appropriately maintained and updated.
Provides expertise in spend management platform integration with accounting processes, troubleshoots system-related issues, and offers training and support to the accounting staff.
Conducts training sessions for end-users to maximize utilization of the spend management platform and ensure alignment with accounting procedures.
Learns and utilizes relevant accounting and reporting systems, including Microsoft Dynamics 365, Coupa, SK Global Treasury Management Software, Workday, and Adaptive Insights.
Understands Indiana State Board of Accounts requirements for charter schools and the GCSI chart of accounts to ensure ongoing compliance.
Maintains and cultivates collaborative working relationships with key stakeholders who represent the divisions of GCSI and with external vendors.
