The Microsoft 365 Intelligent Conversation and Communications Cloud (IC3) powers Microsoft’s first-party real-time conversation products, notably Teams with many millions of users, by providing reliable and high-quality audio and video calling, meetings, and chat services that work every time, from anywhere, on any device. And we expose our core capabilities to third-party partners, with which they can bring conversations to life in their own products. We enable customers to do more by making conversations on our platform more intelligent, surfacing useful information in real-time and taking actions on the customers’ behalf during the conversation.

Our team's goal is to contribute to the platform and experiences for Administration and Management of Microsoft Teams and Teams Phone. We help organizations to configure, manage and administer Teams for their employees and partners.

[Job Purpose]

We are looking for a smart, passionate Senior Product Manager with a deep experience in both technology and business domains to power and deliver on our IC3 mission.  This opportunity will allow you to make a broad positive impact on Teams and Teams Phone.

The role involves creating product vision and strategy based on customer and market needs. You will evaluate trade-offs, propose short-and long-term investment opportunities, and drive the product roadmap. You will drive agreement on product strategy and work with partners to deliver on the roadmap. You will defines features and works with engineering and design to achieve vision and goals for a specific product(s) or set of features, from start to end of life. You will develop and executes strategies to enable in-product organic growth. You will lead product throughout all stages of its lifecycle, including changes, upgrades, and maintenance.

Responsibilities

  • You will drive business impact across the organization and track success criteria for multiple feature areas. You’ll also identify long-term investment opportunities and engage partners to garner support for those feature areas.

  • You will help define a feature set and facilitate usability reviews with customers. You’ll own the roadmap for multiple feature areas, and will collaborate with partner teams on delivering the roadmap for the product.

  • You will work with Product Marketing teams by helping build marketing, roll-out, and customer support plans. You’ll also promote the feature areas you worked on and present at large events.

  • You will partner with others to collect performance metrics and form hypotheses for complex technical needs in order to improve product development in targeted areas. You’ll also identify features to deprecate, manage customer communities, and build trust with targeted customers.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree AND 5+ years experience in product/service/project/program management or software development

  • OR equivalent experience.
