We are seeking a Software QA Engineer to work with our R&D QA Team.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

• Understand the application architecture including various layers and authentication mechanisms and design accurate test plans for validation accordingly

• Derive test scenarios/ test cases by analyzing web service specifications

• Validate web service operations with parameterized payloads using SOAP UI, Postman or any other clients

• Reconcile results obtained from web service tests with database using SQL queries and joins and/ or UI output

• Able to interpret complex logic and compare elaborate transactional datasets with extracts and reports

• Maintains documentation of test results, analyzes test results, creates and tracks defects and recommends corrective actions

• Responsible for grooming and training team in the various facets of testing a legal requirement.

• Responsible for developing quality standards, and defining methods and processes to improve product quality

Ideal Experience

• Minimum of 3-6 years of experience in Testing applications (UI/API/DB)

• Good understanding of service oriented architectures

• Proficient in basic database testing

• BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area

• Experience in automating web services is an added advantage
