The SMB & unmanaged segment has tremendous opportunity with more users and more PCs than the Enterprise. Microsoft has incredible knowledge, success and experience in the Enterprise, we need to replicate this success in SMB. To accomplish this, we’ve created the SMB Engineering Team to drive success of Microsoft 365 into the SMB market. This team is to become the experts of SMB customers and the partners who are their trusted advisors. The SMB team will be world class at working across Microsoft to drive alignment and the simplified end-to-end scenarios for the SMB customer and partner ecosystem.

  1. Project Orland, now in Public Preview, is powered by IDEAs data. This tool is integrated in the Partner Center experience and gives CSPs (Cloud Solution Partners) a view of their customer’s churn risk and upsell opportunities. For example, Orland will tell a partner when one of their customers has a high propensity of being upsold (for example moving from M365 BS to BP) and what sales play to leverage to engage with the customer and upsell them. Orland is targeted at Partner account managers.

  2. Catalyst is a tool integrated in Partner Center to enable partner engagement and data for medium and high-touch partner programs. The current partners targeted for this tool are FastTrack Ready Partners who are partners operating as an extension of our Fast-Track teams to deliver the FastTrack services to customers, mostly unmanaged customers. Through the tool, partners can manage the customers they deliver the FastTrack service to.

Beyond the transition, you will partner closely with PMs in the US driving the product strategy, direction and features for these products. You will also partner closely with engineering to ensure features are delivered.

For the success of this role you will need:
