Job Description

This manager-level position is responsible for people management and sales enablement. and project oversight of staff augmentation projects. Ensures that operational policies are followed and that business objectives are achieved by focusing on standard methodologies and process improvements. Responsible for operational metrics and business results for assigned area of responsibility. Typically manages individual contributors and/or entry-level managers. Monitors consultant activities and performance on projects (e.g. read status reports, respond to staffing and availability issues, pro-actively seek out project performance evaluations, etc.). May serve as project advisor for moderately sophisticated engagements.

Responsibilities

• Overall demonstrable experience encompassing development, design, Solution Architecture of medium to large scale enterprise applications, preferably in BFSI domain

• Focused experience in Design & Architecture of Migrating enterprise OIPA applications from on-premise to Private or Hybrid Cloud platform

• Focused experience in solution designing in OIPA

• Team management experience

• Experienced in the Software Development Lifecycle and Agile Methodologies

• Use fixing & problem-solving skills and work closely with customer and internal teams to ensure successful migrations of OIPA (Or equivalent product) to Cloud.

• Reliable individual contributor capable of working independently and guide and orchestrate the migration from start to finish

• Strong leadership along with customer facing skills

• Technical and design documentation skills.

Required Qualifications:

• Hands on experience in migration of OIPA (any version) to private, hybrid or public AWS platform

• Hands-on AWS experience

• DevOps experience : Hands-on Experience in Zero touch deployment approach and CI/CD pipeline and usage of automation tools including;

o Jenkins/Maven/Docker /Gradle/ for build management

o AppScan/SonarQube/Junit/Genie for code scanning /test

o jFrog for aritifact management

o Ansible/ Python/ Lambda for deployment

o Run applications on AWS, Docker, Kubernetes (EKS, OKE)

o Application containerization expertise in Amazone ECS & ECR

• Knowledge of storage Platform Technologies (SAN/NAS) including Hardware & Software

• Hands on experience in handling large to very large volumes of Data migration to AWS cloud

• Knowledge and experience in Oracle DataBase V18+, Weblogic 12c+, Webpshere & TomEE application containers, API Gateway(s), Containerization and Microservices, Lightweight architectures including JavaScript frameworks (Backbone.js, AngularJS, React).

• Hands on experience on Identification and Resolution of Application Performance Bottlenecks

• Exposure to tools like App2Container, Copilot
