Huron Area Center for Independence Administration Chief Operating Officer in Huron, South Dakota
[GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES[: ]{times="" new="" roman="" tur",serif"=""}]{times="" new="" roman="" tur",serif"=""}
- Shall oversee and assist all departments in human resource planning and development to meet the agencys objectives. Areas of oversight include compensation and benefits, employee relations, health and wellness, training and development, employee communication, and recruitment/selection.
- Shall oversee and assist all departments in Fiscal Services planning and development to meet the agencys objectives. Areas include General ledger, accounting, payroll department, Accounts Receivable department, Accounts Payable department and Housing Program administration and compliance.
- Shall oversee and assist with administration of the Center for Independence Foundation to meet the agency's objectives. Areas to include oversight of preparation of financial statements and applicable fiscal documentation and presentation of that material to the Foundation Board of Directors, development activities to include but not limited to NCAA March Madness fundraiser, Fall benefit dinner, and any other activity that might be developed.
- Will oversee the agencys compliance with applicable State and Federal employment laws, regulations, and certifications in all responsible areas.
