Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) has an exciting opportunity for a Mid-Level Manufacturing Operations Analyst to join our Fabrication Team in Huntsville, Alabama !

This person will act as key focal by leading complex group work sessions selecting and using advanced Lean principles, processes and tools to implement the Boeing Production System for internal or external customers. Provides feedback on assessment results and identifies opportunities for improvement and potential areas of risk. Works with organizations to develop strategies, plans and metrics to achieve business objectives.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Leads complex group work sessions selecting and using advanced Lean principles, processes, and tools to implement the Boeing Production System for internal or external customers.

  • Conducts assessments of processes and practices for comparison to applicable standards and criteria.

  • Analyzes and interprets data.

  • Provides feedback on assessment results and identifies opportunities for improvement and potential areas of risk.

  • Works with organizations to develop strategies, plans and metrics to achieve business objectives.

  • Works at the appropriate level in the organization to implement strategies and plans.

  • Works under minimal direction.

  • Responsible for the working with multiple function teams within the Huntsville site.

  • Adjusts effectively to work within new work structures, processes, requirements, and/or cultures.

  • Facilitates the implementation and acceptance of change within the workplace.

  • Originates action to improve existing conditions and processes; uses appropriate methods to identify opportunities, implements solutions, and measures impact.

  • Demonstrates an interest in personal learning and development.

  • Takes steps to develop and maintain the knowledge, skill, and ability to perform.

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

Shift Work:

This position is for 1st shift.

Security Clearance and Export Control Requirements:

This position must meet export control compliance requirements. To meet export control compliance requirements, a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.15 is required. “U.S. Person” includes U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 5+ years of experience with Microsoft Office suite including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Project.

  • 3+ years of experience developing and delivering presentations to senior leaders.

  • Experience effectively interacting with external personnel on significant technical matters often requiring coordination between organizations and vendors.

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Associates degree or higher

  • 5+ years of experience mentoring, coaching, guiding, and leading teams.

  • 3+ years of experience leading or managing cross-functional or cross-organizational teams within manufacturing.

  • Experience in a role that required strong communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Strong oral and written communications skills.

Typical Education/Experience:

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 6 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+4 years' related work experience, 10 years' related work experience, etc.)

Relocation:

Relocation assistance is not a negotiable benefit for this position. Candidates must live in the immediate area or relocate at their own expense.

Travel:

Position may require travel up to 30% of the time.

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

Summary Pay Range : $79,050 - $106,950
