Job Title: Finisher

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Finisher with 1-3 years of manufacturing experience, preferably in plastics. Candidates with backgrounds in carpentry, woodworking, or building trusses are ideal. Experience with extrusion and maintenance is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Work on the finishing line, ensuring the final product is clean and ready for shipment.

• Clean up the edges of plastic sheets, measure, and wrap the product for shipment.

• Perform documentation tasks related to finishing and wrapping.

• Handle materials and perform tasks such as sanding and lifting.

• Maintain a clean and organized work area.

Essential Skills

• 1-3 years of manufacturing experience

• Experience in plastics is preferred

• Skills in documentation, wrapping, lifting, and cleaning

• Experience in finishing, carpentry, or woodworking

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with extrusion and maintenance

• Experience in carpentry, woodworking, or building trusses

• Ability to work in a very physical environment, standing all day and using hands

Work Environment

You will work on the manufacturing floor of a plastics company that produces building products and advertising materials. The environment is not climate-controlled, so be prepared for varying temperatures. Shifts are 7-7 with a 2-2-3 day schedule. Commitment to attendance and initiative is highly valued.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Huntsville, Alabama.
