Responsibilities
Responsible for the Company's Security department, including all FCLs, personnel security, classified processing, safeguarding, and physical security.
Provides leadership and guidance to a team of security professionals.
Prepares/updates facility security manuals and briefings to include OPSEC and Insider Threat policies and procedures.
Develops, coordinates, and conducts security awareness, training, and educational programs for all cleared employees, ensuring compliance with and support of the National Industrial Security Operating Manual (NISPOM), customer requirements, and company policy.
Detailed understanding and continued implementation of 32 CFR Part 117, the National Industrial Security Operating Manual (NISPOM), and general security requirements for DOD and other Federal agencies.
Review and issue DD Form 254s.
Maintains the corporate NISS (National Industrial Security System) account; submits sponsorship of facility clearance packages as needed.
Prepares the facility for required annual audits/vulnerability assessments, maintaining a robust security process.
Maintains interactive relationships with DCSA representatives.
Maintains interactive relationships with prime and subcontractor FSOs.
Respond to alarms and other emergencies to include after normal business hours and/or nights/weekends.
Provide regular updates to Program Managers and Directors on the status of security management, security violations, badges, clearances, visit requests, etc.
Partner with cross-departmental management to coordinate security initiatives that are aligned with the overall business strategy.
Manage the Insider Threat Program and policies while serving as the Insider Threat Program Senior Official.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
Must hold a current DoD Top Secret Clearance.
Minimum of 5 years of industrial security experience and/or Corporate FSO experience.
Completed FSO Program Management for Possessing Facilities and Insider Threat Training.
Minimum of 2 years of experience with managing and standing up open storage facilities actively processing at Contractor sites under DCSA purview.
In-depth knowledge of NISPOM, Executive Orders, Industrial Security Letters, and DoD Directives.
Working knowledge of SIMS, DISS, NISS, NBIS e-APP, ACCS, and SPOT.
Must be willing and able to travel approximately 10% of the time.
Desired Qualifications:
Experience maintaining a program facility in accordance with ICD 705 requirements.
COMSEC and OPSEC certifications.
Familiarity with US Import/Export Regulations, International Traffic and Arms Regulations (ITAR) & Export Administration Regulations (EAR).
Industrial Security Professional (ISP) certification.
