Position Description:
Banner Defense is in search of a Command and Control (C2) Network Systems Engineer to serve the Program Executive Office - Missiles and Space Mid-Range Capability Project Office (MRCPO), which is responsible for the development, testing, integration, and fielding of the Army's Mid-Range Missile capability. The C2 Engineer is responsible for advising the MRCPO in the design, development, fielding, and modernization of the Battery Operation Center (BOC) as part of the Army Mid-Range Capability.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as a C2 Network Systems Engineer for the Program Executive Office - Missiles and Space Mid-Range Capability Project Office (MRCPO), which is responsible for the development, testing, integration, and fielding of the Army's Mid-Range Capability (MRC) missile system
- Advise MRCPO in the design, development, fielding, and modernization of the Battery Operation Center (BOC) as part of the Army Mid-Range Capability
- Assist with the systems architecture and federated integration of the Tactical Tomahawk Weapon Control System (TTWCS), Aegis Weapon System (AWS), the Advanced Field Artillery Tactical Data System (AFATDS), and the Joint Automated Deep Operations Coordination System (JADOCS) in the MRC Battery Operations Center
Required Skills/Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in science or engineering
- 10+ years of experience supporting engineering for weapon systems
- Minimum 5 years of experience in systems engineering for major defense acquisition program office or OEM
- Demonstrated knowledge and application of systems engineering and requirements analysis
- Experience in network/IP configurations management
- Ability to work on-site.
- Travel is required (10%)
Desired Skills/Qualifications:
Highly
desired candidates will hold an active TS/SCI security clearance and possess experience in missile system fire direction and power systems development. Familiarity with the Tactical Tomahawk Weapon Control System (TTWCS), Aegis Weapon System (AWS), the Advanced Field Artillery Tactical Data System (AFATDS), and the Joint Automated Deep Operations Coordination System (JADOCS) is essential. Have hands-on experience with fielded DoD internet terminal systems such as Starlink, SIPR/NIPR Access Point (SNAP), and T2Network Systems. In addition, a strong understanding of system interface requirements, requirements management, and techniques to drive system behaviors is highly desirable, along with demonstrated experience reviewing entrance and exit criteria.
