Responsible to plan and administers medically prescribed physical therapy treatment for patients; perform Tests and records findings to develop or revise treatment programs; prepare plans and prepares written treatment program based on evaluation of patient data; administer manual exercises to improve and maintain function; instruct, motivate, and assist patient to perform various physical activities; administer treatments involving application of physical agents using equipment; evaluate effects of treatment at various stages and adjusts treatments to achieve maximum results; record treatment, response, and progress in patient's records; confer with physicians and suggest revisions in treatment program; integrate physical therapy treatment with other aspects of patient's health care; and orient work activities of aides. Must have Doctor of Physical Therapy and State License to Practice as a Physical Therapist.License to Practice as a Physical Therapist in the State of New York.
