What is the job about? * *

Grundfos CBS is seeking an experienced Technical Sales Manager- Hydronic Accessories to join its Commercial Building Services sales team. The Technical Sales Manager- - Hydronic Accessories willon key applications involving Hydronic Accessories within the region. This role is responsible for driving sales and ensuring customer satisfaction by providing extensive application and product knowledge. This role will drive crafting sales messaging related to the product, training the sales team, and serving as a liaison between product management and sales. Additionally, this role will manage key third-party suppliers for sourced products and train the inside customer service team on supplier interactions. This role is expected to significantly impact establishing Grundfos as a market leader in the Commercial Building Services business in the US.This position reports directly to the Area Sales Director – CBS US & Canada and will operate on a hybrid schedule out of the Brookshire, TX facility.

Qualified candidates must have authorization to work in the USA without support now or in the future.

Your main responsibilities :

  • Gain in-depth knowledge of the product's features, capabilities, and competitive advantages, and effectively communicate this information to the sales team and customers.

  • Conduct training sessions and workshops for the sales team to enhance their product knowledge and sales skills.

  • Collaborate with the marketing and sales teams to develop effective sales messaging that highlights the unique value proposition of Grundfos Hydronic Accessories in key applications.

  • Create compelling sales materials, presentations, and demonstrations that effectively communicate the benefits and advantages of the product.

  • Provide guidance on effective sales techniques, objection handling, and value-based selling approaches.

  • Ensure the sales team can effectively communicate the technical aspects and value of the Grundfos Hydronic Accessories to customers.

  • Serve as a bridge between the product management, marketing and sales teams for effective communication and collaboration.

  • Gather market feedback for product development and enhancements.

  • Engage directly with customers to understand their specific requirements and challenges.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers.

  • Synthesize market analysis based on trends, customer needs, and competitor activities.

  • Identify opportunities for product differentiation and develop market positioning strategies.

  • Stay updated on industry standards, regulations, and emerging trends in the Hydronic Accessories arena and related applications.

  • Collaborate across functions and motivate sales teams to achieve intended results.

  • Be an active part of the sales organization and motivated by reaching sales and market share targets for the region.

  • Set up and manage key third-party suppliers for sourced products, ensuring optimal supplier relationships and performance.

Train the inside customer service team on how to interact effectively with these suppliers, ensuring smooth operations and excellent customer service.

Your background

We imagine that you have:

  • Bachelor's in engineering or technical field (Master's advantageous).

  • 5-7 years of experience in technical sales or sales engineering.

  • Experience with Hydronic Accessories and related applications a positive

  • Comprehensive technical, communication, and presentation skills.

  • Ability to travel 30 -40%

  • Extensive application and product knowledge (on Hydronic Accessories), with the ability to effectively communicate technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences.

  • Strong training and presentation skills, with experience in conducting training sessions for sales teams.

  • Analytical mindset with the ability to gather and interpret market data, customer feedback, and industry trends.

  • Experience in managing supplier relationships and training customer service teams on supplier interactions.
