Job Description

Turner & Townsend, Inc. is seeking an experienced and inquisitive Talent Sourcer to join our USA recruitment team. This individual will support our recruitment team by identifying key construction talent.

The Talent Sourcer’s responsibilities include using various channels to look for potential candidates, contacting and building talent pipelines for future hiring needs. If you have great networking skills and enjoy recruitment, we’d like to meet you!

Responsibilities:

  • Lead candidate search for identified recruitment needs

  • Develop, test, and track recruitment strategies to create an effective sourcing plan for top talent.

  • Collaborate with peers to improve and share sourcing strategies.

  • Create candidate pipelines utilizing social media, database tools, and networking to support the recruitment team on searches.

  • Utilize feedback provided by recruiters and hiring managers to tailor search.

  • Prioritize critical requisitions to provide efficient sourcing support.

  • Stay informed on the latest candidate outreach methods like AI (Artificial Intelligence) tools, LinkedIn Talent Insights, etc.

  • Engage and pipeline passive key talent as a recruiting best practice

  • Build relationships with candidates to maintain a viable network

  • Collaborate with the recruitment team and hiring managers to understand the needs of our business.

  • Keep up to date with salary information, and industry trends and changes.

  • Support diversity and inclusion initiatives.

  • Assist the wider recruitment team with administrative functions as requested, such as interview scheduling, special projects, documentation, job postings, initiating references, routing offers, and tracking requisitions.

Qualifications

Ideal candidates will have great interpersonal skills and the ability to build candidate relationships. To be successful in this role you must be driven, self-motivated, proactive, and comfortable functioning in a fast-paced environment. Background in construction recruitment is required.

  • Proven work experience as a Talent Sourcer or similar role.

  • Ability to be flexible and assist with administrative work.

  • Hands-on experience with sourcing techniques (e.g., recruiting on social platforms and crafting Boolean search strings).

  • Familiarity with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS’s) and Candidate Management Systems (CMSs).

  • Construction talent sourcing and management experience is mandatory. Consultancy experience is preferred.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Ability to positively present our company and open roles to potential candidates.

  • Effective time-management abilities.

  • A college degree is preferred but experience qualifies in lieu of a degree.

  • Proficient Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
