As a Senior Accountant, you will be tasked with financial statement preparation and consolidation, account analysis and reconciliations, cash flow analysis, budgets and forecasting, audit preparation, and internal control maintenance and regulatory reporting. What you get to do every single day
Prepare Balance Sheet account reconciliations
Work with business partners to ensure compliance with corporate accounting policies, procedures and controls and provide support on special requests
Manage Ad-hoc projects as necessary
Produce monthly consolidated P& L and Balance Sheet flux analysis for management purposes
Offer involvement in various department-wide initiatives
Review financial information such as trends, performance metrics, benchmarks, etc. and present analysis in a clear manner
Dedication to continuously improve the automation of the accounting and reporting process
Aid in coordinating quarterly reviews and testing with internal and external auditors
Produce error-free monthly accounting close procedures and deliverables such as journal entries, reconciliations, reports in compliance with GAAP Requirements - Self-driven motivator who takes initiative on projects with a strong ability to understand and solve creative challenges
Top notch analytical, quantitative and social skills
BA/BS in Accounting, CPA credentials are preferred
Observant, accurate and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment
Corporate performance management (CPM) and business intelligence systems experience a plus
Solid understanding of financial reporting
Intercompany Accounting experience
Strong familiarity with technical accounting
Internal Financial Reporting experience preferred
ERP system experience
Experience in SOX control execution/documentation
Great written, verbal, and interpersonal skills
Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
Vow to meet business deadlines
Experience working in a dynamic and changing company environment a plus
5+ years of overall general accounting experience, ideally with Big 4 experience
Earlier experience in public accounting is highly valued
