Onit Sales Operations Manager in Houston, Texas

The Sales Operations Manager will play a critical role in optimizing our sales processes and ensuring the seamless execution of our sales strategy. This position is responsible for enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of the sales team through data analysis, process improvement, and strategic planning. The ideal candidate will possess a strong analytical mindset, excellent project management skills, and a deep understanding of sales operations within a SaaS environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales Process Optimization:

  • Analyze current sales processes and identify areas for improvement.

  • Develop and implement streamlined sales workflows and best practices.

  • Ensure consistency and efficiency in the sales pipeline.

  • Data Analysis and Reporting:

  • Track and analyze key sales metrics to provide actionable insights.

  • Generate regular sales performance reports for leadership and sales teams.

  • Utilize data to identify trends, forecast sales, and support strategic decision-making.

  • Work closely with finance on weekly, monthly and quarterly reports

  • CRM Management:

  • Ensure data accuracy and integrity within the CRM.

  • Train and support the sales team on CRM best practices and usage.

  • Help assist with the administration and optimization of the sales tech stack, including Salesforce, HubSpot, Planhat, and CPQ tools working closely with the IT team.

  • Sales Strategy Support:

  • Collaborate with the VP of Revenue Operations to develop and execute sales strategies.

  • Assist in setting sales targets and quotas with the finance team.

  • Monitor and report on the effectiveness of sales initiatives and campaigns with marketing operations.

  • Sales Enablement:

  • Work with the Sales Enablement Manager to develop and maintain sales training programs and materials.

  • Equip the sales team with tools and resources to enhance productivity.

  • Coordinate with marketing to align on content and collateral needs.

  • Help create playbooks, process documents, and/or a knowledge repository for revenue generating stakeholders.

  • Cross-functional Collaboration:

  • Work closely with marketing, finance, and product teams to ensure alignment and support sales initiatives.

  • Participate in cross-functional projects to drive company-wide goals.

  • Ensure sales, marketing, and customer success are aligned with metrics and reporting while using a fully integrated tech stack (driving a single source of truth).

  • Mergers and Acquisitions:

  • Integrating sales processes and teams during mergers and acquisitions.

  • Assist in due diligence and post-merger integration activities for the sales organization.

  • Work closely with revenue generating stakeholders and IT to ensure field mapping and historical reporting is optimized.

  •   Compliance and Risk Management:

  • Ensuring sales practices comply with legal and regulatory requirements.

  • Help lead projects that mitigate risks associated with systems and processes.

    Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Finance, or a related field.

  • 5+ years of experience in sales operations, preferably within a SaaS company.

  • Strong proficiency in CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, CPQ, Planhat, Clari) and sales analytics tools.

  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and provide actionable insights.

  • Proven track record of optimizing sales processes and driving operational efficiencies.

  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

    Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with sales enablement tools (e.g., SalesLoft, Outreach).

  • Familiarity with marketing automation platforms (e.g., HubSpot, Marketo).

  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
