We are looking for a diligent and analytical Risk Analyst to join our team in Houston, Texas. The role involves the use of data mining techniques to assess risk profiles, compliance with regulations, and credit risks within the natural gas and futures trading industry.

Responsibilities:

• Utilize data mining techniques to analyze complex datasets and formulate risk assessments

• Monitor and manage attrition risk within the organization

• Regularly review and update risk profiles for different aspects of the business

• Use Microsoft Excel to create complex formulas and calculations for risk analysis

• Collaborate with the finance team to align risk management strategies with financial goals

• Develop and implement risk management policies and protocols

• Conduct thorough research on global trading trends to identify potential risks

• Ensure compliance with all industry regulations and standards related to risk management

• Provide training and guidance to team members on risk management best practices

• Regularly report on risk assessment findings and recommendations to senior management.

Requirements • Understanding of risk analysis principles and techniques

• Familiarity with data mining techniques

• Knowledge of compliance regulations and credit systems

• Experience in futures trading and natural gas industry would be advantageous

• Proficiency in attrition risk management

• Ability to assess risk and develop effective risk profiles

• Proficiency in using Microsoft Excel for complex calculations and formulas

• Basic understanding of finance principles

• Ability to work with complex datasets and perform complex calculations

• Experience in global trading would be beneficial

• Fresh graduates or candidates with some experience in a related field are welcome to apply

• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills

• Strong communication and presentation skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
