Based in Houston, TX with a large manufacturing site outside of Houston and in the process of expanding this site to add more production. We pride ourselves on promoting a truly diverse company.
Pay:$24- $30/hr.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESinclude the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Perform routine operational equipment maintenance such as screen changes and pelletizer blade changes, to keep machinery running optimally.
- Interpret and respond to all plant parameter settings to maintain a steady throughput of material through the extrusion line.
- Examine product psychically to ensure conformance standards are being met and inform the quality team if any discrepancies are found.

- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage timeline while prioritizing workload.
- Ability to generate interdepartmental relationships and convey technical data, and information to people of varying levels of understanding.
- Forklift and pallet jack experience (required in some locations).
- Maintain a positive attitude and good attendance.
- Focus on safe work practices and high quality while executing duties with a sense of urgency.
- Work efficiently self-directed or in a team environment.
QUALIFICATIONS and EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- One (1) year of production experience, preferably in the extrusion/manufacturing process.
- Further education through vocational and technical training programs.
- Core classwork in programs including machining, tooling, material science, and metallurgy.
- Other qualifications include excellent manual dexterity, basic math skills, strong written and verbal communication, and physical stamina,
- Ability to interpret blueprints and design drawings to ensure your sorting is accurate and efficient
