Schlumberger Intern - Geothermal Power Business Development in Houston, Texas

SLB’s New Energy Business is seeking an enthusiastic student Intern for a 3-month internship supporting the Geothermal Business development team in executing the go to market strategy and engaging with high interest with the target markets for Geothermal power.

Roles and Responsibilities:

Assist the Business Development Manager with go to market strategy for North America Geothermal Power including:

  • Identification of target markets and opportunity sizing.

  • Customer discovery and outreach.

  • Customer archetype development.

  • Evaluation of potential business models.

  • Technology gap identification and scoping.

  • SLB market positioning.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Currently pursuing a Degree in Business Administration or Energy & sustainability. Master’s degree preferred.

  • Initial Knowledge of the geothermal power generation theory and solutions is preferred.

  • Excellent analytical skills and business acumen.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact with potential customers and build a network.

  • Candidates must be able to legally work and reside in the US, without sponsorship.
