Aerotek Electrical Assembler (Weekly Pay) in Houston, Texas

Job Title: Electrical Assembler

Job Description

  • Assemble electrical components and control devices to relatively large or heavy subassemblies and complete units.

  • Perform basic wiring of simple circuits, switches, and outlets.

  • Fits, tests, and calibrates parts and mechanisms to meet tolerances and product specifications.

  • Use of basic power tools including drills, impacts and grinders.

  • Read and understand electrical schematics and diagrams to assemble units per the correct specifications.

  • May work as part of a subgroup or as an individual, depending on the task.

  • May require use of a propane hand torch to apply shrink wrap material to product prior to shipping.

  • Build shipping pallets as required.

Job Type

This is a contract position with a duration of 720 Hour(s).

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Houston, Texas.

Work Environment

Production environment with exposure to loud noise, moving machinery, and other hazards. Frequent lifting and moving objects between 10 - 50 pounds is required. Safety protocols must be followed at all times. Work hours are from 7AM to 3:30PM, Monday to Friday.
