Global Services & Solutions - Configuration and Deployment Services Team is searching for top caliber talent to join our team. We are chartered with unlocking the growth through impactful engagements between our customers, sales, presales, market & partners. We have the responsibility of delivering sales objectives and targets, towards our Configuration and Deployment Services Business.

HP Configuration and Deployment Services is the fastest and most sustainable way to get our customer's employees up and running quickly buy delivering great experiences with fewest touchpoints and lowest carbon footprint from our factory directly to our customer's employees.

The Configuration and deployment Services BDM (Business Development Manager) will support the business unit focused:

  • Configuration Services: Image and software configuration, HW configuration, and tagging and packaging

  • Deployment Services: Logistics, Installation and Home delivery

This business is growing with the need for dedicated business Development Managers that understand the sales motion, the technical aspects of the offering and can articulate the winning value proposition to our internal sales teams, channel partners, and direct customers.

We are currently looking for a motivated Business Development Manager with knowledge of Personal Systems technology, in depth and lengthy presales consultant experience and solid business development experience. You will be working as an overlay to the current account managers and presales TC teams.

As an overlay to the HP PS Generalist Sales team, you will be selling to our largest and most strategic acquisition and product-based install base accounts. You will execute on the in-depth strategic account plans that you will be responsible for the creation of, to deliver maximum Configuration and deployment Services revenue potential. Forecast business development activity, in depth account/business planning while creating satisfied customers. Evangelize the Configuration and deployment Services Vision through the building of Business case and ROI management and creation of the HP specific value-added differentiation, in-market events, and strategic account specific initiatives

Responsibilities:

  • Focus on growing Configuration and deployment Services for named large accounts

  • Engages members in presales, sales, supply chain and category to improve the operation, the offering and support complex deals.

  • Develops long and short-term sales pipeline to increase Configuration and deployment Services business

  • Use specialty expertise to seek out new opportunities for customer value by expanding and enhancing existing opportunities

  • Provide support to the Account managers and Presales TCs

  • Collaboration with Presales TC and Account Manager teams to determine strategic approaches for sales on specific opportunities

  • Creates and grows reference customers.

  • Provide effective demos, working closely with Technical Consultants and other subject matter experts to build out and present solid technical sales solutions to multilevel decision-makers at client companies.

  • Orchestrates all HP resources and sponsorship essential for executing the focused account business plan.

  • Drives integrated planning and execution; coordinates Presales, sales and BU delivery organizations to ensure aligned client engagement and service.

  • Meets or exceeds quarterly and annual revenue & margin quotas.

Education and Experience Required:

  • University or bachelor's degree; Advanced University or MBA preferred.

  • Directly related previous presales consultancy experience.

  • Prior Business Development experience

  • Project management skills required.

  • Typically, 5+ years of related Presales and Business development experience.

The on-target earnings (OTE) range for this role is $160,950 to $247,850 annually, with a 80/20 (salary/incentive) mix. There may be additional opportunities for pay in the form of bonus and/or equity (applies to US candidates only). Pay varies by work location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
