Description

We are seeking an Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team in the Houston Galleria area. This role is a contract opportunity managing accounts payable tasks, resolving related issues, and assisting with special projects as requested.

Responsibilities:

• Process invoices efficiently, ensuring accuracy.

• Address and resolve any issues related to accounts payable.

• Maintain accurate records for customer credit applications.

• Monitor customer accounts and take necessary actions when required.

• Utilize Microsoft Excel, Concur, and Timberline effectively to perform job duties.

• Operate in a fast-paced environment, demonstrating strong attention to detail.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in an Accounts Payable role

• Proficiency in Accounts Payable (AP) processes including invoice processing, payment processing, and vendor management

• Advanced skills in spreadsheet software including data entry, cell formatting, creating formulas, and generating reports

• Experience with Timberline and/or Concur software for managing accounts and financial transactions

• Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet strict deadlines

• Excellent attention to detail and high level of accuracy

• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal

• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion

• Comfortable working independently or as part of a team

• Knowledge of general accounting principles and regulatory standards

• High school diploma or equivalent required
