Adecco US, Inc. Sr. Process Controls Engineer in Hopewell, Virginia

Adecco is hiring immediately for Sr. Process Controls Engineers at our local client in Hopewell, VA. Sr. Process Controls Engineers do essential jobs with one of our premier clients, with Annual pay ranges from $94,068-$109,070 per year, plus available overtime. In this role, you will safely adhere to company policies and procedures, design and implement control systems by configuring and developing Distributed Control Systems (DCS) systems, ensure that control software management supports the site’s goals, and develop HMI graphics to facilitate efficient technician response and enhance understanding of the process operation.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree

  • 10+ years of relevant experience

  • 5+ years working in a Process Controls role

  • Ability to work effectively with personnel in all departments and roles within the facility

  • Proven communication, planning, and organization skills

  • Preferred requirements:

  • 15+ years of DCS experience, preferably with Emerson Delta-V both batch and continuous

  • PLC experience (Allen Bradley/Modicon)

  • Experience with data historian (ASPEN)

  • Experience working at a PSM facility with alarm management/rational

  • Computer skills: Outlook, Excel, SharePoint, Word, PowerPoint
