Naval Facilities Engineering Command SUPERVISORY FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT ANALYST in Honolulu, Hawaii

Summary You will serve as a SUPERVISORY FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT ANALYST in the BUDGET FORMULATION & EXECUTION DIVISION of NAVAL FACILITIES ENG COMMAND HAWAII. Responsibilities You will perform work on all phases or systems of Budget Administration, to include Payroll, or Accounting Operations in a General Fund financial operating environment. You will devise solutions to problems by developing and or modifying accounting or budgetary methods and techniques. You will plan work, set priorities and schedules work necessary to assure effective and expeditious accomplishment of command operational or financial priorities. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Providing recommendations and suggesting cost and benefits of alternate methods for effective and efficient use of financial resources; 2) Interpreting and reviewing financial policies and guidance to recommend proper course of action on an issue to support funds fidelity and elevating complex issues for further guidance as needed; 3) Assigning work to subordinates based on employee's capabilities, priorities and difficulty; and 4) Devising solutions to problems by developing and or modifying accounting or budgetary methods and techniques.
