What Quality Compliance contributes to Cardinal Health
Quality develops and implements quality policies, procedures, and processes to ensure products and services comply with regulatory standards and specifications.
Quality Compliance is responsible for the development and deployment of policies, procedures and programs designed to minimize risk, enable compliant business operations, products and services and drive uncompromised supply chain integrity.
Responsibilities
Engages directly with prospective and current pharmacy customers as a representative of Cardinal Heath’s Controlled Substance Monitoring Program
Applies comprehensive pharmacy knowledge and a thorough understanding of organizational procedures
Manages communications regarding the Controlled Substance Monitoring Program with prospective/current customers
Administers and exercises policies and procedures ensuring operation within guidelines
Decisions have a direct impact to work unit operations and customers
Frequently interacts with peer groups at various management levels
Interactions normally involve information exchange and basic problem resolution
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in related field preferred or equivalent work experience. Advanced Degree required.
8-12 years experience in related field preferred
3+ years experience as a Pharmacist in a retail or hospital pharmacy setting
Must be fluent in both English and Spanish

Participates in the development of policies and procedures to achieve specific goals
Recommends new practices, processes, metrics, or models
Works on or may lead complex projects of large scope

Provides solutions which may set precedent
Independently determines method for completion of new projects
Receives guidance on overall project objectives
Acts as a mentor to less experienced colleagues
Anticipated salary range: $102,000-$145,700
