Job Summary: Always Best Care Senior Services - Oahu, a leading senior care facility in Honolulu, Hawaii, is seeking compassionate and dedicated NAs/CNAs to join our team. This is a full-time, individual contributor role in the healthcare/medical field within the franchise industry. The NAs/CNAs will be responsible for providing high-quality care to our residents and ensuring their well-being and comfort. Compensation & Benefits: The NAs/CNAs will be offered a competitive salary ranging from $18 to $25 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications. The salary will be paid on a weekly basis. In addition, employees will have access to a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, paid time off, and opportunities for professional development and advancement within the company.   Scheduling Options : Flexible scheduling Choose your own shifts Recurring shifts, Part-time, Full-time and On-call positions Workplace Selection: Multiple facilities to choose from, select a workplace/ Clients that suit your preferences Responsibilities: • Provide personal care assistance to residents, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming. • Monitor and report any changes in residents' condition to the designated nursing staff. • Assist with daily activities, including meal preparation, feeding, and medication reminders. • Maintain a clean and safe environment for residents, ensuring their rooms and common areas are neat and organized. • Engage in conversation and daily activities with residents to promote mental and emotional well-being. • Follow proper infection control procedures and maintain residents' hygiene. • Adhere to all facility policies and procedures and maintain confidentiality of residents' information. Requirements: • High school diploma or equivalent. • Current NA/CNA certification in the state of Hawaii. • Ability to pass a background check and drug screening. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. • Empathetic and compassionate approach towards working with seniors. • Knowledge of basic medical terminology and procedures. • Ability to lift up to 50lbs, bend, stand, and walk for extended periods. • Prior experience in a long-term care facility or similar healthcare environment is preferred.
