We are in search of a General Office Clerk/Customer Experience Specialist to join the team of a transportation company in Honolulu, Hawaii. This role offers a long term contract employment opportunity. As a General Office Clerk/Customer Experience Specialist, you will be responsible for various tasks including customer service, freight coordination, and handling documentation related to cargo and shipments.

Responsibilities:

• Efficiently processing customer requests.

• Generating and dispatching quotations.

• Creating and managing shipments.

• Generating documentation such as receipts and invoices.

• Providing timely updates to customers regarding shipment status.

• Coordinating with 3rd party vendors for pick-ups and deliveries.

• Collaborating with various internal teams and stations on the movement of freight.

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar role is required

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including Microsoft Word and Excel

• Experience with answering inbound and managing outbound calls

• Familiarity with basic office equipment and procedures

• Strong data entry skills with an ability to maintain accuracy

• Experience with document management such as uploading, filing, copying, scanning, and documentation is needed

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively

• Strong attention to detail

• Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
