Description

We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Full Charge Bookkeeper for a hybrid role with a quickly growing company. The position involves overseeing all financial aspects of contracts, maintaining accurate accounting records, and government cost type contracts. Responsibilities:

• Oversee all financial elements of contracts, including budgeting, cost estimation, tracking expenses, and managing cash flows.

• Use accounting software to maintain precise accounting records, record transactions, reconcile account balances and generate financial reports.

• Regularly analyze the financial performance of contracts, identify potential issues or areas for improvement, and make recommendations based on findings.

• Ensure all accounting and financial activities adhere to government regulations and standards, including auditing financial records, reviewing contract terms and conditions, and maintaining up-to-date knowledge of regulatory changes.

• Manage project costs, which includes tracking all costs associated with the project, analyzing the variances, forecasting future expenditures, and reporting to management using accounting software.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Full Charge Bookkeeper or similar role

• Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems

Experience with DOD Accounting-

• Experience with ADP - Financial Services

• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Office Suites, and Microsoft Outlook

• Demonstrated ability to handle all accounting functions

• Experience in managing Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)

• Ability to perform Bank Reconciliations

• Experience in handling Billing Functions

• Government cost type contract experience

• DoD experience

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Proven ability to handle confidential information

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively

• Proven ability to work independently and as a part of a team.
