The W+ Advanced Analytics Manager is a critical analytical role that offers you the opportunity to utilize your data analytics and data science skills for Walmart+ , a top company priority . In this role, you'll be a key contributor to the end-to-end knowledge , analysis, and action-driving insights to influence executive leadership, grow the membership base, and build deeper engagement with our customers.

What you will do . ..

  • Leverage world-class customer data, models, and feedback tools coupled with your problem-solving prowess to help build the Walmart+ experience.

  • Execute complex analyses using advanced analytics and data science techniques for Walmart+.

  • Distill large, complex data sources into recommendations for others to understand and navigate easily.

  • Use advanced data extraction and mining tools i.e. Google Cloud Platform and Big Query, and build models using Python/R .

  • Collaborate with cross functional partners to ensure they understand the member voice .

  • Conduct exploratory data analyses to generate insights and identify patterns in data. Develop and implement causal and statistical analyses and models. Communicate findings and insights to stakeholders in a clear and impactful manner.

  • Perform business or statistical analysis to understand drivers of performance, predict outcomes, generate insights.

  • M easure drivers of key business KPIs and conduct strategic analyses to inform /influence business decisions .

  • Partner with Walmart+ stakeholders to translate challenging business problems into state-of-the-art data science solutions.

  • Develop learning plans with clear objectives and appropriate methods and techniques to address key business questions.

  • Communicat e effectively to achieve support and influence cross-functional stakeholders.

You'll make an impact by:

  • Building a solid data, analytics, and insights foundation for the W+ team to achieve its business goals, across customer experience and engagement ( identify issues + future need s) .

  • Translating data into insights, strategies, and actions for the cross functional partners and business team to deliver short term membership goals , improved E2E experiences, and long-term retention .

  • Influencing , inspir ing , and collaborat ing well with others (including peers) to align data solutions and accomplish goals through data-informed strategies .

  • Working across teams to represent one single source of truth , simply, for the W+ customer .

You'll sweep us off our feet if...

  • You have 4+ years of experience with advanced SQL, Python/R, Google Big Query, and Google Cloud Platform.

  • You have experience with statistical methods and advanced modelling techniques (e.g., SVM, Random Forest, Bayesian inference, etc.).

  • You have proven experience in translating business requirements into innovative data solutions that drive growth and leveraging data to inform business strategy and process design .

  • You have experience building and executing strategic business processes within a large organization including working with technology partners to deliver information solutions.

  • You have strong exploratory data analysis skills and ability to make analytical, data driven recommendations.

  • You have strong written, presentation and verbal communication .

  • You have experience successfully navigat ing a highly matrixed organization while work ing closely with teams across segments of the company .

  • You are curious and seek to understand business problems beyond the task or data

  • You thrive in ambiguity and have demonstrated ability to succeed in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple projects and tight deadlines .

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Statistics, or related field and 2 years' experience in data analytics or related field OR 4 years' experience in data analytics or related field.

Live Better U is a Walmart-paid education benefit program for full-time and part-time associates in Walmart and Sam's Club facilities. The annual salary range for this position is $96,000.00-$186,000.00

Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.
