Maintenance Mechanic

$25-32/hr

An establish production company located in Hobart, IN is seeking multiple maintenance mechanics and entry level mechanics to join their team. 401k and insurance benefits are offered immediately once hired.

Previous experience/schooling in industrial maintenance and production machinery maintenance is required.

Description:

• Perform preventative maintenance on equipment correctly

• Welding

• Troubleshooting equipment issues

• Perform preventative maintenance on machinery

• Rig machinery for installation & removal

• Installs & repairs electrical apparatus such as transformers & wiring

• Maintains pipe / hydraulic and pneumatic lines, repairs & replaces gauges, valves, pressure regulators, and related equipment

• Work during production outages on time-sensitive tasks

Qualifications:

• 1- 2+ years of experience in Maintenance

• Troubleshooting industrial or manufacturing equipment

• Interpret electrical schematics and wiring diagrams

• Hydraulics and pneumatics

Environment:

Three buildings located one in the port. Two are steel processing facilities that are cleaner for steel. Cut to length machines and slitters. The other facility is a little more industrial which does pickling. Will work at all three sites.

Shift: 2nd Shift/3rd Shift (2pm - 10pm or 10pm - 6am)
